Forest Officials Rescued Wild Elephant From The Muddy Pit In Eastern India

A elephant was fell inside a ditch and the people alerted the forest official who came to rescue it from the ditch in Jalpaiguri, west Bengal, eastern india.

The elephant was stray from herd and slipped and fall into the ditch after that villager see and inform the forest officer.
The forest officer come and tie the elephant with the rope and pull out from the pit using stick and rope both together.

The elephant then run inside the tea garden as people are happy shouting.

The video is from 14th July 2020 showing the rescue operation. The people are surrounded together to take the elephant out of the muddy ditch.

Some are pulling from both side by the rope which is tied on its all four legs and others are supporting it from side using stick.

Finally the elephant was taken out of the ditch and everyone is happy and it ran towards the jungle through the nearby tea garden.
