WW2 shipwreck SS Richard Montgomery could cause tsunami up Thames, UK

Footage of dangerous WW2 shipwreck SS Richard Montgomery in the calm waters of the Thames this morning July 17, plus some additional footage of maintenance being undertaken on July 14 to one of the large yellow marker buoys warning of the wreck's presence to mariners.

Expert retired filmmaker Ken Rowles believes the wreck could cause 'a tsunami' to up the Thames if it were to explode, as it sank with 1,400 tons of explosives still onboard.

The Government have now put out a tender for the masts above the waterline to be removed, with the work expected to take place next year.
