A water monitor lizard crosses my path to dine on a large catfish shared with large-billed crows. But he's unwilling to let another monitor near his lunch. There are hundreds of monitor lizards in Bangkok's Lumphini Park and perhaps thousands in the canals. They are highly intelligent and closely related to the Komodo Dragon of Indonesia.
