Muslim worshippers keeping two meters apart perform Zuhr (the afternoon prayer) at Wightman Road Mosque, also known as London Islamic Cultural Society and Mosque, in north London which reopened after almost four months of lockdown.

All worshippers attending the Mosque have their temperature checked before entering the Mosque, have to wear face coverings, bring their own prayer mat, Quran, a reusable shoe bag and have to use hand sanitiser.

Worshippers have to keep two meters apart during the prayer and use the allocated space.

Last month the government announced that gatherings of more than 30 worshippers are allowed for acts of communal worship in churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and other places of worship.
