20 trapped wild boar piglets scamper in a flurry inside a well in India
Family members of Debaraj Mishra of the Narasinghpur area in eastern India heard a peculiar noise coming from the backyard.
Turn out, 20 wild boar piglets had fallen into an abandoned open well devoid of water.
A local team of forest and fire officials went to the well and rescued the piglets.
Rescue officials had to run after the juvenile pigs, which were scattering inside the well and round them up with difficulty.
Officials managed to gather all of the animals, haul them up in bags and release them back into the wild.
Subhendu Mallik, Honorary Wildlife Warden, Khordha said: “The wild boars are prolific breeders and live in large herds, which can touch even 100. The babies must have fallen into the well while following their mothers.”
The footage was filmed in July 17.
