Fast-flowing floodwater destroyed the walls of several houses in Ha Giang Province, northern Vietnam on July 21.

Footage shows the cracked wall of a house eventually giving way to the rapid water.

The floods in the area have killed five people and two more were injured by resulting landslides. Over 500 houses have been destroyed.

According to the house owner, floodwaters suddenly rose and flooded her house in the early morning. Floodwaters are everywhere and hit the walls.
The wall of the house cracked and was quickly destroyed by floodwaters after two hours. The surrounding houses were also destroyed by floodwaters.
This is the first time people here have seen such a flood.
Only after a heavy rain. Floodwaters appeared to wash away and destroy everything.
This is the largest rainfall ever to occur in this area. Floodwaters flooded many streets. Swept away any means. Five people have died from being swept away by floodwaters. Two people were injured by landslides. More than 500 houses were destroyed.
