This is a legendary coffee shop located in Samalanga sub-district, Aceh, Indonesia. This traditional coffee shop has become the place of choice for drinking coffee from the lower class and high class.

The owner is Mr. Nurdin. He has worked in a coffee shop since 1981. Initially as waiter in this coffee shop, the owner was a Chinese.

In 1998, Chinese were forced to leave Aceh, then this coffee shop was handed over to Nurdin. Thus, Nurdin runs the coffee shop as a business unit that he manages independently.

Many coffee shop owners in Samalanga are former workers from Atra Kupi. As a person who started the business from “zero”, Nurdin understood one thing, that anyone who wants to grow, must be given the opportunity.

Mr. Nurdin is willing to be a powder supplier for all coffee shops opened by his former waiters with the same quality coffee beans.

Atra Kupi is indeed legendary around Samalanga. For this reason, even without the internet network, this coffee shop is still crowded by visitors of various ages.
