SHOTLIST:

1. Various of the mural of Maradona and Messi
2. Various of the neighborhood footbal club Deportivo Pereyra

STORYLINE:

Deportivo Pereyra, a neighborhood club located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Barracas, achieved the dream of the Argentine footbal player: bringing together Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona, Ariel Ortega, Juan Román Riquelme, Gabriel Batistuta, Sergio "Kun" Agüero, Claudio Caniggia, Mario Kempes and Ricardo Bochini.

These Argentine football figures were recreated in a work of art that aims to parody the Sistine Chapel that the renowned Michelangelo painted in the Vatican.

In the image - which is on the roof of one of the fields - the only ones wearing the Argentine shirt are Messi, who occupies the place of Adam, and Maradona, in the role of God. The rest are angels surrounding the last one.

The entity shows its yellow and green colors, in the Barracas neighborhood, in the south of the Argentine capital, not far from the Boca Juniors stadium. The plastic artist is Santiago Barbeito.

"It's like Maradona gives Messi the continuity of good football," Barbeito explained his creation.
