Preying mantis launches attack on woman in Houston, Texas
An insect enthusiast was terrified after a praying mantis in Kung Fu stance jumped on her while she was trying to take a video of it.
Taylor Clark from Houston, Texas said she found the fierce creature by the grassy part of their yard on July 13.
At first, the insect only ignored her so she started following it around.
But the mantis might have started to feel threatened by the human so he launched an attack that shocked Taylor and sent her scrambling for cover.
She said: "Maybe the praying mantis thought I was trying to harm him. It was funny because its face looked serious and fierce."
Taylor added that she let the insect leave after the attack without it being harmed.
