Firefighters tackle a huge house fire after a propane tank exploded causing damage to surrounding homes in Massachusetts.

The clip, filmed on July 27, shows firefighters attacking the fire after it got out of hand.

A local firefighter filmed the scene and explained to Newsflare: "Initially, the call came in for a deck fire at 25 Hanna Street, Quincy, MA. First arriving companies called off with smoke showing on a one and a half story wood frame.

"Soon after companies called a working deck fire with exposure problems. The fire quickly extended to the house and threatened and eventually extended to both exposure houses.

"A propane tank exploded and crews made a great stop on the exposures. Several rehab units were on the scene on one of the hottest days in Quincy in 2020. There were about 85 firefighters on scene needing rehab."

Initially, the call came in for a deck fire at 25 Hanna Street, Quincy, MA. First arriving companies called off with smoke showing on a 1.5 story wood frame. Soon after companies called a working deck fire with exposure problems. The fire quickly extended to the house and threatened and eventually extended to both exposure houses. Propane tank exploded and crews made a great stop on the exposures. Companies were ordered out of the initial fire building and set up heavy appliance guns as the stubborn fire continued through a 4 alarm fire. Several rehab units were on scene on one of the hottest days in Quincy in 2020. There were about 85 firefighters on scene needing rehab. A
