Drone intones safety protocols amid coronavirus pandemic in central India
Civic bodies and officials of central India's Madhya Pradesh have resorted to drones to direct the public in complying with the safety protocols to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The incident took place at Rajwada region in Indore city on July 30.
According to reports, the drone is equipped with a megaphone that will transmit the messages directly to the public and will be used in crowd control.
The video shows a drone lifting off from the ground intoning direction to anyone within earshot to follow government rules and stay home.
A large crowd can be seen gathered in the area to witness the incident.
Sources suggest the drone can sanitize an area of 25 meters at one time.
A camera attached to the drone will capture the surroundings and prevent people from flouting the safety protocols set by the government.
