Man builds fully functional miniature jeep
Arunkumar who works as a nurse in the Idukki District Hospital has made the jeep for a 10-year-old kid Amruthesh with the help of Some generous people, Amruthesh asked him for it after seeing the miniature auto he made before.
The weight of this toy jeep is approx 75 Kilos and it can pull twice its weight. Arun had kept the size slightly small to reduce the overall weight and to make it more attractive.
While there are many parts of the Jeep Willys miniature model, which are borrowed from different vehicles, the Chassis has been built by him using rectangular pipes. Arunkumar also designed and built the rack & pinion system for the steering wheel himself, as such small sizes are not produced or available anywhere.
Arunkumar is a COVID-19 warrior and is currently employed in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
