A vet in Baripada, southern India saved an abandoned civet cat that was run over by a biker.

Footage filmed on July 18 shows the injured civet undergoing surgery before being released back into the wild.

After hearing about the civet's incident, animal rescue Krishna Gochhait rushed to the scene and brought the animal to Baripada veterinary hospital.

After 10 stitches and a week of recovery, the animal was released by the forest department.

After getting information animals rescuer Krishna Gochhait rushed to spot and took the injured Civet cat to Baripada vetenairy hospital. Vetenairy doctor immediately operated and stitches the injured cat.

More than 10 stitches has been stitched in time of operation. Inner parts came out but doctor successfully operated it.

The Civet cat was under observation by the animal rescuer Krishna. Veterinarian doctor has been prescribing medicines for quick recovery.

after one week the cat was cured within, the cat has been released after cure completely said forest department.
