Slow moving Filter feeding whale shark is seen for the first time in the waters of Pondicherry. In this footage the whale shark opens its big mouth to eat the plankton which is their favourite food. It pose no harm to the humans. Artificial reefs are built under the waters of Pondicherry. Bottom sediments are also rich here and that attracted these species here now. Since it can live in tropical and travel long these whale sharks has now made its new home in Pondicherry. They visit here frequently because of the newly built artificial reefs.
