I have a deep fascination for volcanos and spend 2 visits of 35 days total to shoot this movie at one of worlds most incredible locations Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park I wanted to capture it during all moments of the day and planned my visits when the Milky Way was in ideal position Capturing the night sky proved incredibly hard as mist and dew ruined my shots almost every night Many nights I was stuck at the main viewpoint as mist made it impossible to drive back through the park Nights were cold windy and tough but it was one of the best projects Ive ever worked on Bromo is an active volcano and it bellows smoke days and night and can sound like a nearby train as it rumbles
