The wall of dust slowly overwhelms the city, severely reducing visibility.

According to local reports, the storm also wreaked havoc on the famous Jaisalmer Fort, which accommodates nearly one-fourth of the living population in Jaisalmer.

An enormous cloud of sand loomed over a city in northern India’s Rajasthan, leaving residents startled.

The catastrophic storm emerged on August 5 in Jaisalmer and engulfed the entire city in no time.

Visuals show a massive cloud of sand approaching the village gradually, but persistently. 

According to reports, the storm also wreaked havoc on the famous Jaisalmer Fort, which accommodates nearly one-fourth of the living population in Jaisalmer.

However, the light drizzle that followed the storm let natives breathe a sigh of relief after a prolonged dry spell in the region.
