A common frog in Cuddalore District of Tamilnadu South India was screaming like a small baby when it was trying to free itself from a hunting snake. It emitted a high pitch Screech sound like a small child. It was probably for scaring the snake or to attract the secondary predators that may feed on the snake. Any how the escape mechanism worked when a snake handler reached the spot to catch the snake. He caught the snake and naturally the frog escaped.
