An Air India plane from Dubai to Calicut in Kerala crash Landed and split into two killing one pilot and seriously injuring the other pilot on 07th August a few moments ago around 7:41 PM IST.

The plane Air India express flight 1344 that was run as per Vande Bharat Mission was bound from Dubai to Kozhikode Kerala, southern India.

The plane crashlanded and overshot the runway to split onto two halves killing one of the pilots while seriously injuring the other.

There were a total of 191 passengers on board and the injured are being rushed to the medical centre for a checkup.

Bad weather and tabletop structure of the runway is said to be the reason for the accident but nothing concrete is being said as of now as the matter is going to be investigated later.

Water canons and ambulances rushed to douse the fire spray water and rescue the trapped passengers to be shifted to the health centres respectively.

The alert pilots tried to avoid the situation to the best of their capacity to avoid the plane from crashing but dived by its nose hitting the most impact towards the front.

There was no smoke or fire which were seen after the plane split which the airport officials said was because the pilot tried to save the situation till last.

The passenger death toll is said to be 2 at the moment but at least 40 passengers are said to be seriously injured at the moment in the accident and are being rushed to the hospital.

The occupants included 5 Cabin crew members, 10 children inside the flight.
