A possible tornado battered Delaware Valley on Friday, August 7 evening. Strong thunderstorms had also brought torrential rain with gusty winds to the Greater Philadelphia area including parts of Delaware and New Jersey.

A tornado warning was issued and expired for several counties in the area, including Chester and Delaware Counties in Pennsylvania, Salem, and Gloucester Counties in New Jersey and New Castle County in Delaware.
