Extinction Rebellion activists have poured fake blood over the steps of Trafalgar Square in protest against the deaths of indigenous people in Brazil.

Footage showed at least two protesters who entered the square's famous fountains being arrested by police.

Three groups of movements came together to join forces and unite. They were the Extinction Rebellion. HS2 rebellion, and international solidarity network as part of the Brazilian indigenous emergency global action day to stand in solidarity in Trafalgar square

When I asked why the ground and steps were covered in red, one of the protestors said, they sprayed fake blood all over the ground to represent blood, and dyed the fountais luminous yellow 'in solidarity with indigenous people dying in Brazil!"

Two females who had entered the fountains were arrested after being coaxed out by the police. One had to be carried away.
