Uma Devi is a 35-year-old Pet animal from Kerala, Owned by the elephant Caretaker Thirumeni Mahesh in Thiruvananthapuram.
Footage filmed on 7th August shows the Mahout Pampering the elephant with Scrubbing, bathing, and the elephant enjoying the treatment by moving its trunk.
Kerala is unique in its obsession with elephants. The state has about 500 privately-owned elephants. Apart from keeping elephants as pets, the state also uses them for public events and religious rituals.
