15 minutes after erupting, Mount Sinabung ash soaks a nearby village-File2
Footage of volcanic ash from Mount Sinabung smothering a nearby village in Sumatra, Indonesia.
In the video, captured in Naman Teran (a nearby village) on Monday, 15 minutes after the eruption the roads and roofs are covered in thick dust.
Mount Sinabung erupted again at 10:00 am Monday morning (August 10).
Local residents have seen dramatic eruptions and increased activity during the past three days.
The 2,460-metre (8,070-foot) volcano became active again in 2010 after lying dormant for 400 years.
