Rare goat born to an Indian family has left the vets stunned in Central India
An rare goat born to an Indian family has left the vets stunned after they couldn't find the nasal cavity of the kid after it was rushed to the clinic by its owner in Bilaspur, Chhatisgarh India.
Farid Khan the owner rushed the goat kid soon after his goat gave birth to its baby with defect.
As the kid looked abnormal at the first sight, the owner rushed it to be treated. He was shocked to see two eyes in Forehead & without nose
Dr R N Tripathi & Dr. Ajay Agarwal jointly operated the kid to find the nasal cavity which was missing by its birth.
The kid was breathing through its mouth as it was born with no nasal cavity.
Dr R N Tripathi told the owner that the defect was not caused due to chromosomal abnormality as assumed and the condition was rather known as cyclopia.
Dr. Tripathi said, " This is not the first case that I have seen, in 2011 I had treated a goat kid with similar condition which was born in Kerala, southern India."
Dr. Agarwal said, "The kid is breathing through its mouth, and I will operate it once again to see if I can find any nasal cavity to help it breathe normally and survive for long."
"Animals born with such abnormalities usually do not survive for long."
