In a miraculous rescue, a bovine that had unwittingly fallen off a high-mountainous road, into a 30-foot-deep ditch, was hauled out using a crane in northern India’s Himachal Pradesh.

The incident took place in Kinnaur’s Chaura village August 7.

According to reports, the animal had been reported missing from the village three days prior to its rescue.

As soon as the animal was spotted in the deep trench, Head of Chaura village, Govind Singh, along with some locals, rushed to the spot to help rescue it.

Visuals show a crane safely pulling out the bovine, with a rope attached to the ends of its body.

After several attempts, the bovine was hauled out of the trench to safety.
