A 15-year-old girl was spotted walking along the 23rd-floor ledge of a building in southern India.

The teenager's death-defying walk on the 29-storey building in broad daylight was filmed by residents of the opposite building in the town of Thiruporur, Tamil Nadu on July 25.

According to local reports, the 15-year-old was warned by police after a complaint was lodged on August 10.

Local reports also suggest that when the Assistant Superintendent of Police of Mahabalipuram and Police Inspector Rajangam went to the apartment complex, the teenager's parents were questioned and admitted to encouraging the incident, in a "dare" against her brother.

Luckily, the 15-year-old was not harmed.

A daredevil 15-year-old teenage girl walked from one end to the other side on a ledge on the 23rd-floor of a 29-storey building in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The incident took place in Thiruporur of Chengalpattu district on July 25.

The video shows the teenager balancing herself and walking on the slab on the 23rd-floor of the apartment complex.

According to the reports, the cops have lodged a complaint and it was reported that the girl is the daughter of the couple living in the apartment.

Assistant Superintendent of Police of Mahabalipuram and Police Inspector Rajangam went to the apartment complex for investigation.

Sources suggest that the complaint was lodged on August 10.
