Over 1,000 music and events industry workers marched through Manchester uk city centre on 11th August, 2020. Their goal was to draw attention to the current job losses and lack of work in this sector, to lobby the Government for support, and to support the WeMakeEvents campaign. Many protesters pushed flight boxes, commonly used to take equipment to events. The Covid crisis has put many self employed workers in the events industry out of work. The protesters wore masks and were socially distanced.
