Boat carrying carrying five forest department officials capsizes in middle of creek in northeastern India
A boat carrying at least five forest department officials capsized in the middle of a creek in northeastern India's Assam.
The incident took place at Kaziranga National Park on August 8.
The video shows a small boat carrying at least five forest officials rattling in the middle of the creek and a few feet before away from the shore it proceeds to sink.
Following this, the officials try their best to save the boat that was being carried away by the water current.
Several people on the shore rushed to rescue the drowning officials.
After several attempts, they managed to swim towards the shore safely.
According to the forest officials, the staff face such things almost every day on the field.
