In a heartwarming gesture, a man installed his late wife’s hyper-realistic wax figure, on the occasion of his newly constructed bungalow's house warming, in southern India's Karnataka.

The incident took place in Koppal district, where the man introduced the life-sized statue resembling his spouse, rekindling her memories on August 8.

According to reports, the man identified as 57-year-old businessman Srinivas Gupta, approached over 25 architects to make the newly-built house special for his wife.

One of them, eventually, suggested to Murthy the incredible idea, following which he approached the well-known Gombe Mane toymakers.

On August 8, guests who were invited to the housewarming ceremony at Srinivas Gupta's residence were left speechless after they walked through the door to see a life-like statue of his late wife Madhavi in the living room.

The video showcases his wife, Madhavi, sitting on a sofa donning a beautiful pink saree, and golden ornaments.

Reportedly, Madhavi was on a trip to Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, with her daughters, three years ago, when their driver rear-ended a speeding truck.

While the daughters sustained minor injuries, Madhavi, who was seated on the passenger seat, passed away in the accident.
