Flash Flood, Stonehaven, Scotland
12 August 2020, Stonehaven, Scotland. The UK heatwave and subsequent thunderstorms resulted in torrential downpours throughout the country. The video vantage point is normally a road which runs parallel to the River Cowie in Mineral Well Park, Stonehaven. Rain running off from the higher ground of the park created a fast flowing flash flood flowing into the river at a 45 degree angle.
