Entire tribal village was drowned in floods and the tribes were immediately evacuated despite the heavy currents in South India.
For the past couple of days torrential rains lashed the Ooty district in Tamilnadu. An entire tribal village in the area was drowned. Many tribes who live in this area lost their homes as floods surrounded their huts. 15 families were struck in the floods as the bridge that connects the road was washed away. With the help of the fire and the rescue department they were evacuated immediately.
The footage shows the visuals of the tribes being evacuated in the strong water currents with the help of the fire and rescue department staffs
