A Shiva temple is located in Sathuragiri hills in Viruthunagar district of Tamilnadu. As the temple is located in the hilly region many monkeys made the temple as their habitat to live. Usually the temple has devotees all around the year. The devotees will feed the monkeys with fruits and water. But due to the pandemic and the Lockdown all the temples in tamilnadu have been shut. The monkeys often depend on the devotees for food but due to the lockdown no devotees are allowed inside the temple premises resulting the monkeys to starve. The footage shows the monkeys holding empty glass seeking water as they are very thirsty and hungry
