Unique Contest on Indonesian Independence Day Celebration in Makassar
The Vehicle Tax Management Service Association (AMJAS) is holding a unique competition to celebrate Indonesia's 75th Independence Day, Sunday, August 16, 2020 around Tanjung Bayang Beach, Makassar City, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia.
To note, Indonesia's Independence Day occurred on August 17, 1945. This year is the 75th day of independence.
The participants were adult men and women carrying out a sack race and a competition to carry marbles using a spoon. Uniquely, this competition was held while dancing to music.
A number of residents were also enthusiastic about watching the unique and festive competition held by this association. (*)
