Mike and Amy were pillars of the Boise, Idaho community — running a church, a coffee shop, and a performing arts theater — but when COVID-19 caused them to lose revenue across all three organizations, they were forced to sell their home and move into an RV with their 9 children.

In this heartwarming video from July 26, thousands of Boise residents line up in their cars to offer them financial and emotional support.

"They thought they were just being interviewed about their story, but it was a setup! We had a parade of nearly 100 cars ready to surprise them with thousands of dollars and words of encouragement," said Jeff, who oversaw the wonderful prank.

Mike and Amy are some of the most loving people we’ve ever met. All they’ve ever wanted to do was to make people feel like they belong. They ran a church, coffee shop, and performing arts center for that very purpose; to make people feel like they belong, no matter who they were, where they were, and what skeletons they had in their closet.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, they lost funding and revenue for all three organizations and had to close them. They are having to sell their house and move into an RV with their 9 kids. When they were down on their luck the most, that’s when people stepped up to show them that they made a difference in so many people’s lives.
