US: Dome Fire Burns 40,000 Acres In Mojave National Preserve At CA-NV Border
A wildfire called Dome Fire has burned about 40,000 acres in the Mojave National Preserve near the California-Nevada border.
The fire started Sunday morning, August 16, and grew rapidly.
Cima Road, Ivanpah Road, Kelso-Cima Road and Morningstar Mine Road are all closed.
