Locals run into the sea to swim as Storm Ellen batters Ireland
This is the amusing moment a locals run into the sea to go swimming as Storm Ellen crashes into Ireland yesterday (August 2).
The two lads and a woman donned their swimming shorts and ran through the rain to paddle in the choppy waters as the strong winds lashed Killiney Beach in County Dublin.
The storm, which contains remnants of devastating Tropical Storm Kyle, brought heavy gales and blackouts when it reached Ireland on Wednesday night.
It has now moved into Wales and the South West of England where floods are feared. More stormy weather is expected to continue today as gusts up to 70mph hit exposed coastline areas
