Israel announced the suspension of fuel entry into the Gaza Strip, after several inflamed balloons fell in Israeli territory.

According to reports, the only operating power station in the Gaza Strip has run out of fuel and has stopped operating.

The Gaza power plant normally operates only eight hours a day, after fuel crosses into Gaza via the Israeli Kerem Shalom border crossing.

Most Palestinians in the Gaza Strip use batteries, generators and candles to light their homes.
