Detectives have launched an investigation after a body was found in park in Walthamstow, London on August 24.

Footage shows a police cordon at St. James Park where the body of a man was found.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the park is closed to the public as the investigation continues.

Detectives launch an investigating following the discovery of a man’s body in St James Park, Walthamstow, East London. Police were called by a member of the public at approximately 13:40hrs this afternoon to St James Park, in Walthamstow, after a person was found unresponsive.

A man, aged in his thirties, was pronounced dead at the scene.

St James Park is closed to members of public as investigation continues.
