Costa Rica: M6.0 Earthquake Strikes 3km Southeast Of Jacó

According to the USGS confirmed a strong earthquake occurring at 3:51 pm Monday, August 24, at a depth of 27 kilometers (17 miles) close to the coastal city of Jaco in Costa Rica.

It struck Costa Rica's western coast on Monday, and also shook buildings in the capital of San Jose, about 66 km (41 miles) away.

There's no damage report as of writing.
