A father in Indonesia makes a football video for his daughter's school physical education assignment that is different from the usual.

The video looks like a footage of a professional football match with spectators and referees.

It begins with footage of a goal net with a warm-up background by a football player and a text about an elementary school student assignment.

Wahyu Lelo, the parent, said he was told by his daughter that a grade 5 elementary school physical education teacher gave her the task of making a football video.

The teacher asks a video of students practicing 4 combinations of locomotor and manipulative motion in football. Videos are sent to pre-formed online chat groups.

On Monday (August 24) Wahyu took his children to the soccer stadium in the city of Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, then made a video of the practice assigned by the teacher.

Footage on the field then combined with footage documents from football matches filmed previously.

"I just want my child's schoolwork perfect and different from the others, so I bring the child to a real football field so that the practice video requested looks real, not boring and more lively," Wahyu added.

Meanwhile, the elementary school was forced to do online learning as school was still closed.

Second wave fears forced the city government which originally planned to reopen schools on August 18 had to postpone it.

After more than one month of zero positive cases of Covid-19 during the implementation of New Normal, in the past week, the results of the swab test have again recorded that a number of residents in this city have tested positive for COVID-19.

Since the Indonesian Government decided to close all elementary schools since March 2020, student has been studying from home with parents.

Over 60 million students in Indonesia are temporarily out of school due to COVID-19, impacting their education in unprecedented ways.
