In an incredible display of intelligence, a domesticated parrot in northern India has been using a smartphone by itself to watch videos of other birds.

The visuals were shot on August 21 in Katihar’s Naya Tola area, Bihar, where Mitthu, the parrot, lives with its family.

The bird has been a part of the Verma family for over an year.

Visuals show the parrot tapping its beak on the smartphone screen and swiping left to select a video.

It can also be seen trying to interact with the birds in the video.

According to owner Rajesh Verma, the bird sleeps on a bed instead of a cage and even accompanies the family on their trips to market.
