Footage shows collapsed bridge as death toll from Turkey floods rises to 9
Footage shows a collapsed bridge in Giresun, Turkey, on Tuesday (August 25) following devastating floods that have killed at least nine people.
The concrete structure over a creek gave way following an ''unprecedented amount of rainfall in the area'' which caused devastation, with cars washed away and buildings damaged.
A river which burst its banks flooded the city with muddy water and carried huge boulders from mountains through the streets.
The Ministry of Interior Disaster and Emergency Management Authority said that more than 150 people were rescued.
However, authorities are still searching for at least eight people who are still missing.
