This mischievous elephant was caught strolling around the housing quarters of Mettupalayam, a hilly area of Tamil Nadu in southern India.

Footage from August 26 shows the wild elephant strolling past houses, picking up a parked bike, and curiously examining clothes that were drying outside.

Man-animal conflicts are common in the area, local media reported.

Mettupayalam a hilly area just located adjacent to Western Ghats (the biggest chain of mountain range) in Coimbatore district of Tamilnadu. Man animal conflicts often raises in this area. Likewise an elephant just entered a housing quarters. It was seen casually strolling the houses. Then it saw a bike that was parked outside an house and lifted it then with less curiosity it dropped the bike. It also was keen on checking the clothes that was dried outside the houses.

All these moments were captured on camera by person who witnessed the elephant's mischievousness.
