This is the adorable moment a cheeky parrot checked its reflection in a security camera installed to watch traffic on the highway.

The curious Corella bird perched on the platform where the camera is and started pecking on its lens in Perth, Australia on August 24.

It hogged the limelight from the passing cars and would-be traffic offenders as it tried to peek inside the lens of the camera. Several other Corellas then joined their friend as they flapped around the pole before flying away.

The now-famous bird, a type of cockatoo, has been nicknamed "Ralph" after it amazed traffic camera operators at the Kwinana Freeway Freeway.

The Corella birds are white Cockatoos species are primarily – or only – found in Australia, while the Philippines, Indonesia, and the Solomons.
