But flood relief operations were in full swing and disaster and district rescue teams were busy no one could help the dog for four days.

On August 18, a crowd gathered at the bank when a media team visited the area to report on the flood. Seeing the crowd the dog jumped into water and swam toward them. The men initially could not make out what was swimming towards them. But when the object got near them they  realised it was the dog that was stuck for four days and had bravely swum across the flood in good stamina.
