A nurse in Tampa, Florida, surprised his girlfriend with an adorable goldendoodle puppy for her birthday.

Footage filmed on July 11 shows the breeder walk up to the couple and hand over the 8-week-old pup, causing an emotional reaction from the girlfriend.

According to the filmer, the couple are both nurses and met in nursing school four years ago and they've both wanted to get a dog.

They both are nurses They met in nursing school 4 years ago and ever since then shes been begging him for a dog He always made excuses on why they couldnt get a dog like graduate college first find a nursing job first buy a house first etc This year has been tough for both of them at work with COVID to say the least So during quarantine the guy started planning my birthday surprise for her to boost her spirits He used the time to research breeders for her favorite dog breed a goldendoodle On her birthday she thought him and a few friends were taking her Kayaking to see manatees at one of the natural springs in Florida The guy coordinated with the breeder and they drove two hours and met halfway at a grocery store on the way to the natural springs She thought they were picking up snacks and drinks for the day but little did she know she would get the little gift she had been asking for for years an 8 weeks old goldendoodle And her reaction says it all She cried the whole way home Tears of joy of course
