Residents around Cal Anderson Park in Seattle complained of a parade of Seattle Police vehicles blaring sirens in the middle of the night on Tuesday, September 1.

This follows the camp clearing operations carried out by the SPD at Cal Anderson Park which has been the site multiple tents with activists, protesters, and campers during weeks of protests. The park is near the Shelterhouse and CHOP gardens.

Residents say that despite a few protesters in the streets around the park, the SPD siren parade is a major nuisance and a petty show of force in the midst of calm.
