Extinction Rebellion shut down Barclays branch in Piccadilly Circus
Activists from Extinction Rebellion ended up temporarily shutting down a branch of Barclays in London's Piccadilly Circus on Wednesday (September 2).
Protesters gathered outside the branch over Barclays' investments into fossil fuels. One put tape on the pavement outside reading "climate crime scene"
The staff inside the branch refused to let customers in after the protesters arrived and one managed to enter & demonstrate inside the bank.
