Here's a bright idea: Watch this Tajikistan vlogger's tutorial on how to create your own DIY coffee machine by recycling an old light bulb on September 5.

Footage shows the construction of the DIY coffee maker, which shows the elaborate and meticulous crafting of the light bulb and other glassware.

The bulb is attached to the other glass with a screw top and a siphon tube is applied, which creates the vacuum mechanism. Obviously.

A stand is built from wood and the coffee-making apparatus is attached.

The filmer explained: "A vacuum coffee maker operates as a siphon, where heating and cooling the lower light bulb changes the vapour pressure of water inside it.

"Water is pushed up - or pushed down - the siphon tube into the upper light bulb.

"Just five minutes and you will get fresh coffee."
