Vehicle knocks down 7-year-old, runs over child in southern India
A seven-year-old was left injured after an autorickshaw ran over the child in southern India's Telangana on August 30. The incident took place in Padmavati Colony, Allapur of Hyderabad.
In the CCTV footage, the child is seen playing on the roadside along with some other kids.
A vehicle emerges from the corner, unaware of the adolescent.
The child suddenly dashes and crashes into the vehicle.
The vehicle knocks the child down to the ground and runs over the kid.
However, the autorickshaw realizes the accident and flees the spot.
Further, the video shows a girl approaching the child trying to get the kid back on feet again.
According to reports, the child escaped the accident with minor injuries.
A complaint was lodged to the police after the incident.
