International literacy day at TBM Lentera Kota Tua
The Lentera Kota Tua Community Reading Park (TBM) invites Batang Arau tourists to enjoy reading poetry and reading books to donate books to celebrate International Literacy Day, Tuesday (8/9/2020) Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia.
The coach of TBM Lentera Kota Tua, Khairul explained, the activities to enliven this International literacy day are to increase the reading interest of the younger generation so that they can change the mindset of the people in their daily life.
TBM Kota is a place that provides a variety of reading books, arts and methods for treating household waste such as ecobrics and plastics.
The Executive Board of the Kota Tua Lentera TBM, Yudi said, TBM, which was founded last May, is joined in a number of organizations. They hope that in the future they will be able to change the younger generation to love reading and to reduce their use of gadgets.
"Gadgets are currently quite attached to children's lives, therefore we are trying to change their lifestyle a little bit so they love reading to get to know the world. (Moozamochi)

Semarak hari aksara internasional di TBM Lentera Kota Tua
Taman Baca Masyarakat (TBM) Lentera Kota Tua mengajak wisatawan Batang Arau menikmati pembacan puisi serta membaca buku hingga berdonasi buku dalam menyemarakkan hari aksara Internasional, Selasa (8/9/2020) Padang,Sumatera Barat, Indonesia.
Pembina TBM Lentera Kota Tua, Khairul menjelaskan, kegiatan menyemarakkan hari aksara Internasional ini untuk meningkatkan minat baca generasi muda sehingga mampu merubah pola pikir masyarakat dalam kehidupan sehari hari.
TBM Kota merupakan sebuah tempat yang menyediakan ragam buku bacaan, kesenian dan cara pengolahan limbah rumah tangga seperti ecobrik dan plastik.
Pengurus Harian TBM Lentera Kota Tua, Yudi mengatakan, TBM yang berdiri sejak Mei lalu tergabung dalam sejumlah organisasi. Mereka berharap ke depan mampu merubah generasi muda gemar membaca dan berkurang dalam menggunakan gadget.
